5 Common but Dangerous Things we do Everyday.

 


 

As humans, we are always looking forward to making our environment comfortable and  less stressful, but when it comes to some of our daily routines, we do things that are sometimes dangerous to our health in a bid to maybe finish up quickly, save time, money or get more comfort but unknowingly to us, it’s gradually killing us.

This post will take us through five major things we have been doing wrongly.

 

 

1.     Sitting all day.

Most people cannot avoid not sitting at one position all day because sitting is mostly the best posture for doing most things comfortably, even reading, working  in an office. But then, only few people know that sitting at one position all day can cause some health challenges such as obesity since sitting does not require any energy expenses, and cardiovascular diseases. Some people even have a bad sitting posture which is even worse.

Whatever you do, make sure not to sit all day. Take break at intervals and walk around.

 

 

2.     Eating too many food at the same time or eating very quickly.

Eating fast and eating too much are two different things but, eating fast or quickly can lead to eating too much.

This however, is a bad habit because eating too much can cause obesity and eating very fast can make you choke on our food. Eat gradually so that your brain can analyze when you are full to prevent obesity.

 

3.     Drinking from plastic cans.

Most of us do this often thinking it’s the right thing. Please avoid drinking from plastic cans because those plastics might have been exposed to heat this can cause some serious health challenges due to the fact that most plastics when exposed to heat, release chemicals which can contaminate your drinks.

 

 

4.     Consuming too much salt.

It’s no doubt that salts are added to our foods to give them taste, but then excessive salt intake have direct effect on our health. Diseases associated with excessive salt intakes are blood pressure, and heart disease.

 

 

5.     Brushing after eating.

Yes, almost all of us brush after eating so we can have a fresh breath immediately. But studies have shown that out teeth are at their weakest state after eating, so by, brushing them, we are damaging them. Wait for like 30minutes before brushing or instead, just rinse with water.
